ABOUT THE STORY
One cold December afternoon Matt Wafer finds an elderly homeless man living in a cardboard box. It’s almost Christmas, and despite the fact that the Wafer’s can’t afford much, Matt convinces his mom to let the old man come home and stay with them. Mr. Clawson is the perfect house guest, cooking, cleaning and making Mrs. Wafer and Matt laugh.
Matt and his mom have made special presents for Mr. Clawson, and he has made gifts for them. On Christmas Eve they share their gifts with each other. Everyone is happy when they go to bed that night and Matt really believes Christmas couldn’t have been any better. However, when Matt wakes up on Christmas morning, it unexpectedly becomes his best Christmas ever!
