Renowned children’s book author Herb Marlow presents an outstanding elementary school program that is a delight to both students and teachers. The inspiring stories he shares with young and old alike increase the desire to read books and write stories.
The children and teachers also have a chance to ask Herb questions about writing and publishing books. This provides a solid foundation for teachers working on these topics in the classroom.
Our authors are available to visit your school, club or bookstore. If you would like to request an author visit please click here. When you book a visit, all you have to do is follow our step-by-step plan:
Begin promotion of the visit (we will provide you with various effective promotional ideas at the time that we book your visit.)
- Up to two thirty-five minute programs per day (in the morning or afternoon) for grades one through six.
- Free author-student autograph session

“HOW TO” guide – how to get the most out of your author visit:
- Time in each class for teachers to read our books to their students. We suggest 10-15 minutes of reading each day. THIS GUARANTEES A SUCCESSFUL AUTHOR VISIT.
- Assurance that order forms will be sent out
- A day reserved FOR OUR AUTHOR. Please do not schedule book fairs or other activities on the same day as the author visit
- A schedule allowing time for all classes to attend the program
- A location for the program
